The concept for Night came from a short story called 'The Lost Girl' by Rhode Island native Rick Corbett (currently the drummer for the band Mother Of Dylan). The story involved a man slipping into a dream-like situation where he rescues a little girl from a would-be serial killer.
Rather than trying to adapt a script in its original form, a new and much easier script was written based off of the general idea of being inside one's own mind. Little did West know, that his locations would be easy but filming during the night hours would not.
Night finally wrapped on September 11th after 2 months of careful scheduling for actors, crew and locations. Luckily all turned out well. The rough cut was completed on September 21st and a trailer is on the way!

We could not have asked for a better team of professionals to be a part of this short. A true crew list will go up eventually but there are a couple of specials that need to be mentioned:
Rocco Michaluk (Video & Vision) and Rajah Samaroo (Edge Infinity) rented out their personal equipment so that Night would be able to shoot it's scenes properly. Rajah's van 'Daisy' came packed with a great grip kit. Rocco lent an amazing ARRI light kit that made the night scenes exactly what we needed. Both of these people and their companies are great resources in the New England area.
